Hailing from Camden, NJ/Coatesville, PA- Author/ Leader/ Producer and Creator-Davon Clark has set his sight on creating pathways for diversity in literacy and media. Combined with 21+ years of experience and training in the entertainment and education fields, Davon holds (2) NAACP Image Awards and has showcased independent films at various festivals nationwide. Davon has also appeared on television, in commercials, web-series, and short films. In 2010, Davon decided to devote his efforts to fostering future generations and became an educational instructor, teaching/mentoring youth from Camden, NJ, Bronx, NY, Philadelphia, PA, Los Angeles, CA and more. His bachelor’s degree in Theater and Communications from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA, coupled with his international studies in London, England, at Northampton University prepared him to strive in his many accomplishments including the development of ADC Kid and The Adventures of Prada Enchilada. In 2016, Davon started the first ever Children's Book Festival in Camden, NJ. In 2018, Davon was awarded the Martin Luther King, Jr. Freedom Medal Award for the work he does in the Camden County community. Named (1) of Black Enterprise's 2018 Be Modern Man 100 Men of Distinction. In 2019, Davon received an honoree mention at NJ State Governor's Jefferson Awards. He currently sits on the advisory board of a non-profit called AHHAH (Arts Holding Hands and Hearts).
The Adventures of Prada Enchilada is positioned to be an educational children's series starring a dog named Prada Enchilada and his best friend, a cat named Mimi Tortellini, which help foster math, oral listening and cognitive development skills.
